Démonstration très indonésienne avec des LVTP7 A1. Bon cela passe même si ce ne dois pas être très bon pour les vertèbres.

C'est intéressant ! Tu peux mettre directement des LVTP7 sur le pont de ton BPC et ils se jettent à l'eau tout seul. Faut juste pas qu'ils atteignent l'eau à l'envers 

Plus besoin de sas arrière pour le débarquement.

Idem sur une frégate, tu en mets deux ou trois sur le pont hélicos et ils se jettent à l'eau tout seul sans matos; même si ils semblent avoir besoin d'un peu d'élan.

Terrible pour les familles qui attendent dans l'angoisse . Hélas, il y a rarement eu des dénouements heureux dans ce type de disparition ..

un sonar actif à un moment donné le détectera (si le soum reste discret, sans bouger et n'ouvre pas une porte de TLT pour lancer une anguille).

La furtivité et discrétion ne fait que réduire la distance de détection, il ne l'annule pas.

Ils sont surtout très nombreux (58 en service actif !) et souvent âgés (mis en service entre 1971 et 2008).

C'est pas tout à fait les mêmes , l'argentin c'était un dérivé U209/TR1700, celui ci c'est un U209/1300  avec des MTU (12V493 AZ80)  coque en acier HY80 je crois

L'épave du sous marin a été localisé sur les fond marin au large de Bali. Le sous marin c'est brisé en 3 parties.

Air Chief Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto said search teams had received "visual images" which have been confirmed as parts of the KRI Nanggala 402 submarine, such as the rear vertical rudder, anchors and the outside of the pressure body. 

"... Based on authentic evidence we state that KRI Nanggala 402 has sunk and all of the crew members have died.

"Therefore, with deep sadness, as the commander, I declare that 53 KRI Nanggala 402 personnel have died," said ACM Tjahjanto at a press conference in Bali.

SUBMARINE ESCAPE SUIT FOUND

The military showed what it said was a submarine escape suit found by search teams. Navy chief Admiral Yudo Margono said the suit would normally be stored in an "emergency box". He suggested that someone had perhaps taken the suit out of the box but did not manage to wear it.

At least 25 Indonesian ships have been involved in the search for KRI Nanggala 402. Ships from other countries have also been sent. Among them is Singapore's MV Swift Rescue, which arrived early on Sunday.

Adm Margono said the MV Swift Rescue's Remotely Operated Underwater Vehicle (ROV) was deployed at 7am. At around 9am, it obtained visual images of the submarine at a depth of 850m.

"The KRI Nanggala is divided into three parts, the hull of the ship, the stern of the ship, and the main parts are all separated, with the main part found cracked," he said.

Investigations are under way for the cause of the sinking but the navy chief told reporters he ruled out human error, saying that the correct procedures were in place when the submarine dove.

An attempt will be made to lift the submarine but because of the rarity of such an operation, he said the military had yet to determine how it would do it.

The Indonesian submarine went missing on Wednesday while taking part in a torpedo drill in north Bali waters. 

The military earlier assumed that the submarine experienced a power outage. In that condition, the submarine could have run out of oxygen by 3am on Saturday.

In a statement on Sunday, President Joko Widodo said: "This tragedy shocked us all. Not only the families of the 53 crew members and the navy, but also the entire Indonesia people."

“Because it is at the depth of 850m, it is very risky and very difficult for an ROV (remotely operated underwater vehicle) … to lift it,” the navy chief added.

The KRI Nanggala 402 submarine went missing on Wednesday with 53 people on board when taking part in a torpedo drill in north Bali waters. Contact with the vessel was lost at 4.30am local time, after it asked for permission to dive at 3am. 

A total of 49 crew members, one ship commander and three weapons specialists were on board the submarine, the defence ministry had said.

The military assumed that the submarine experienced a power outage. In that condition, the submarine could have run out of oxygen by 3am on Saturday.

If there is no power blackout, the oxygen can last for five days, said the navy chief on Saturday.

At least 25 Indonesian ships have joined the search. More ships from other countries, including Singapore’s MV Swift Rescue will also be involved. 

During the Saturday press conference, the Indonesian navy chief noted that the ROV on MV Swift Rescue can operate at the depth of up to 1,000m.

La marine chinoise a failli perdre un 636 il y a quelques années. Les sous mariniers ont enchaîné des manoeuvres pendant 20 minutes pour éviter le pire si ma mémoire est bonne.
