bah les mercenaire sont connue pour se tiré dés que ça chauffe , il suffit de voir le cas de l'armée de khadafi pendant la guerre la plus part des équipement étaient HS pour cause de maintenance car les mercenaire avait fuie le pays au premières semaine du conflit ,  ça c'était pour les plus intelligent , les mercenaire africain on suivit quelques mois après .

The Emirates’ land forces, comprising some 8,500 soldiers has not received significant modernization in recent years. Despite the country’s wealth from oil and trade, Qatari land forces were not spoiled with modern equipment in recent years. In fact, the Qatari forces still operate a fleet of French AMX-30B2 main battle tanks and South African G5 towed howitzers and Mk F3 self-propelled guns acquired in the 1980s. The only new infusion of hardware was in the air defense of the island, fielding 12 batteries of Patriot PAC-3. Qatar is likely to become one of the first international operator of the Terminal High Altitude Air defense (THAAD) missile defense system.

Comme le souligne aviapics "ils n'ont pas trop le choix". Les mercenaires, selon toutes probabilités, feront effectivement défaut si ça chauffe vraiment pour le pays mais, d'un autre côté, les autochtones des pays du Golfe, élevés dans un cocon doré grâce aux pétrodollars, ne semblent pas plus motivés pour se sacrifier pour la patrie... Les achats d'armes dans ces pays sont essentiellement des achats de soutiens politiques et militaires en cas de coup dur. Comme le Koweit, ils comptent qu'une coalition internationale leur vienne en aide si, par ex, l'Iran en venait à les attaquer.

Toute a fait vrais même les natif ne sont pas si nombreux que sa les étranges sont 6 fois plus nombreux que les qatariennes,mais doivent défendre les pays qui les accueillis et le paradis ou ils vivent  :O

Nexter a d'autres prospects au Qatar

Ce contrat était dans les tuyaux depuis plusieurs mois. En juillet 2012, la presse allemande s'était fait l'écho de l'intérêt du Qatar pour 200 chars allemands. Mardi, la chancelière Angela Merkel avait reçu à Berlin le Premier ministre du Qatar, Hamad ben Jassem al-Thani. Les chars livrés par Krauss-Maffei doivent progressivement remplacer les blindés français AMX-30 et AMX-10P et sud-africains que possède actuellement le Qatar, a précisé le groupe allemand.

Pour aurtant, Nexter veut également une part du gâteau au Qatar. Le groupe public propose peu ou prou l'ensemble de sa gamme : le véhicule blindé hautement protégé, l'Aravis, le canon autotracté Caesar, le véhicule blindé de combat d'infanterie (VBCI). Le tout pour équiper une brigade qatarie.

Al Galail, Qatar, Qatar - U.S. Marines and Sailors assigned to the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), conduct the final Eagle Resolve exercise with members of the Qatar Emiri Land Forces, in Al Galail, Qatar, May 2, 2013. Eagle Resolve is an annual multilateral exercise designed to enhance regional cooperative defense efforts in the Gulf Cooperation Council nations and U.S. Central Command. Paris croit beaucoup aux chances du véhicule blindé de combat d'infanterie (VBCI) de Nexter qui est arrivé dans le groupe de tête à l'issue des évaluations face à ses rivaux allemand (Boxer de KMW et Rheinmetall), finlandais (Patria AMV) et turc. Des VBCI équipés du futur missile moyenne portée (MMP) grâce à la tourelle de Nexter T40. Doha souhaite acquérir 480 véhicules pour les forces terrestres ainsi que 200 exemplaires pour la garde spéciale de l'émir.

 

Par ailleurs, Eurocopter espère vendre le NH90 dans sa version terrestre et navale. cette dernière sera équipé de missiles anti-navires Marte (MBDA). Le constructeur travaillait sur deux propositions, l'une étant de panacher la version terrestre (12 modèles TTH) et navale (10 NFH), l'autre étant de proposer que du NFH (22 exemplaires). Face au NH90, les Américains proposent le Seahawk de Sikorsky. En revanche, les Qataris préfèrent pour renouveler leur flotte d'hélicoptères de combat (une douzaine d'appareils) l'Apache de Boeing au Tigre d'Eurocopter.
