NORFOLK (April 1, 2015) The Military Sealift Command hospital ship USNS Comfort (TA-H 20) departs Naval Station Norfolk. Comfort is deploying to support Operation Continuing Promise 2015, a series of humanitarian exercises conducted under the direction of U.S. Southern Command to provide medical, dental and veterinary aid to people in the Caribbean, Central and South America. WATERS EAST OF THE KOREAN PENINSULA (April 1, 2015) Landing Craft Utility (LCU) 1631, assigned to Naval Beach Unit (NBU) 7, lowers its ramp inside the well deck of the amphibious transport dock ship USS Green Bay (LPD 20).
