Les deux premiers F-16 qui ont recu la modernisation CCIP ont etaient livrer a la Tuaf par TAI, ces appareils seront en meme niveaux que les F-16 block 50+...

Oui, ce sont les seules avions qui peuvent porter les missiles popeye, donc on en gardera..

ne soyez pas choquez si la Turquie demande aux Americains le F-22 :lol:

Je pense qu'on peut les remplacer par les Typhoon a moyen terme...

La Turquie est entrain de develloper un missile balistique de 1000 km (avec la technologie) (peut atteindre Tel aviv-Teheran-Athenes-Alexandrie), ce projet devrait prendre fin en 2009, l'armee a decider de develloper ce projet pour deux raison, pour avoir des competences dans la fabrication d'une fusee spatiale (La Turquie prevoit de lancer son premier fusee spatiale en 2012) et de concurencer Israel (Missile Jericho) et l'Iran (Sahab-3) dans les domaines balistiques au Moyen-orient...

La Turquie abrite l'exercice multinational de l'armée de l'air

ANKARA, 5 septembre (Xinhua) -- Un exercice militaire aérien multinational, baptisé "Anatolian Eagle 2008/3", aura lieu la semaine prochaine dans une base aérienne au centre de la Turquie, a déclaré vendredi l'armée de l'air turque.

Cet exercice se déroulera les 8-9 septembre à la troisième base Main Jet dans la province centrale de Konya, a précisé l'armée de l'air dans un communiqué.

Des avions de chasse, en provenance de la Turquie, des Etats- Unis, de l'Italie, d'Israël et de l'OTAN, participeront à cette manoeuvre militaire, selon ce communiqué.

TIHA, from the Turkish words Türk İnsansız Hava Aracı (Turkish Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) is the Medium Altitude Long Endurance (MALE) UAV program developed by the Turkish Aerospace Industries for the Turkish Armed Forces.

The basic performance specifications of the TIHA system released by TAI are as follows:

    * Service ceiling: 30,000 ft

    * Endurance: 24 hours

    * Cruise speed: >75 kts

    * LOS communication range: >200 km

During the initial development phase which is scheduled to be completed within 51 months, until mid 2011, three prototype air vehicles will be built under the programme; along with ground control and mobile imagery exploitation stations, two ground data terminals and two remote video terminals. Subsequently in the production phase, at least six systems with 18 UAVs will be delivered to the Turkish Armed Forces.

The UAV will have a 10m (33ft) all-composite fuselage, detachable low-mounted wing with a span of 17.3m and a detachable V-tail with a span of 4.5m.

Maximum take-off weight is 1,500kg (3,300lb) including provision for a 200kg payload and 250kg of fuel.

Initial payload elements will comprise a daylight camera, thermal imager, laser designator, and synthetic-aperture radar with ground moving-target identification capability. Weaponization will be studied in the production phase.

The TIHA will have a pusher propeller configuration and a cruise speed of around 75kt (140km/h), service ceiling of 30,000ft and 24h endurance.

Turkey may buy Russian MI-28 attack choppers to bridge gap

Turkey plans to buy 32 Russian MI 28 attack helicopters as a stop gap measure in its fight against the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), which has intensified its attacks in the past year, Turkish defense industry sources have said.

"Until the attack helicopters that Turkey will produce in cooperation with AgustaWestland over the next five years begin to enter service, Turkey plans to buy Russian attack helicopters to bridge the gap," said the same sources.

Turkey has around seven Cobra Whiskey AH 1 attack helicopters out of around 12 in its military inventory, and the shortage in attack helicopters means that it is unable to fight effectively against the PKK, said a retired Turkish military source. However, sources from the Turkish Undersecretariat for the Defense Industry (SSM) were not immediately available to confirm the reports.

Nevertheless, well-informed sources said the SSM has been conducting secret negotiations with a Russian company, Rosoboronexport, for the purchase of 32 attack helicopters at a cost of about $1 billion.

Earlier this year, Turkey asked the US to sell it Cobra helicopters to meet its urgent requirements. But due to the unavailability of the US-made Bell Cobras, Washington suggested Turkey buy Boeing-made Apache helicopters instead.

"Ankara turned down the US's Apache proposal out of a fear that it may kill its attack helicopter deal with the Italian AgustaWestland," said the Turkish defense industry sources.

Though Ankara signed a deal worth around $3.5 billion with AgustaWestland for attack helicopters in June this year, the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) have refused AgustaWestland's offer of selling off-the-shelf A129 Mangusta attack helicopters as an interim solution.

TSK turned down the Italian offer on the grounds that the existing A129 helicopters would not have met its urgent requirements.

Turkey's attack helicopter project with Italy went into effect in late June this year, but it was overshadowed by speculation that those helicopters would be delivered late, in addition to several alleged technical shortcomings in meeting the Turkish requirements.

The project envisages the joint production of 50 helicopters with an option of another 41 at the facilities of Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI), the main contractor in the project, using the maximum amount of local resources. The helicopters to be produced at TAI are to be named T129, which will be based on the Italian A129, but configured to meet Turkish requirements.

The first T129 helicopter is scheduled to be delivered to the Turkish Land Forces Command on June 24, 2013. The remaining 49 helicopters are planned to be delivered within four-and-a-half years after that date.

Turkish plans to buy attack helicopters to meet what the TSK has commonly described as "urgent needs" date back to the early 1990s, when the current SSM undersecretary, Murad Bayar, was a junior project officer.

C'est pas sa le problème...

Je m'explique, le T-129 rentrera en service actif en 2013, étant donné que l'armée Turc a besoin d'hélicoptère d'attaque d'urgence pour combler le vide dans le sud-est...ils vont achetez le Mi-28 (Je pense que les Russes en garantie une livraison rapide), sinon l'armée Turc allait choisir l'Apache...

Les Américains nous ont proposaient l'A-10, l'Apache, mais on a refuser...

Je pense que si les Mi-28 viennent en Turquie, ils seront envoyé en Thrace en face des Leo-2A6 et Apache Grecque, les Supra-cobra de la région de Thrace et d'Istanbul quand a eux seront envoyaient dans le sud-est...

Ils ont essayer de nous vendre de ces avions...c'est une information très répandu dans les milieux de la défense en Turquie...Les Américains et les Turcs ne se sont pas entendu, le projet d'achat est tombé a l'eau...

Il y avait des rumeurs comme quoi la Turquie voulaient acquérir 50 A10..
