Les lance rocket sont relativement immunisé contre la contre-batterie du fait que la séquence de tir est tres courte avant de changer de position. Portée sur un engin a roue la sortie de batterie doit etre rapide et l'engin peut s'éloigner rapidement. Ajoute a ca l'économie de personnel pour un pays ayant une population en age de combattre réduite, et ca donne un sens a l'engin. C'est pas vraiment plus bete qu'un Himars avec c'est 6 rocket qui se battent en duel! et si ca peu créer un barrage interdisant un débarquement par exemple c'est tout bénéf. Pour peu le les rocket soient pleine de sous munition bomblet, y a moyen de faire pleuvoir des grenade sur une grande zone pendant pas mal de temps, en se relayant 4 engins de la sortes peuvent assurer une interdiction tres décente, le plus important a mon sens c'est le temps de rechargement, voire si on peut charger parallèlement les 4 lanceur ou pas etc. en gros tant qu'on ne souhaite pas déployer cet engin au loin et qu'on s'en sert pour jouer a domicile c'est pas plus bete qu'autre chose, et le risque de se le faire détruire est faible.

Peut être mais face à l'aviation ou à un drone  il est beaucoup plus vulnérable plus facilement repérable que 6 engins dispersés ou 12 himars. Et beaucoup moins mobile.

avec une couverture hélicoptères-avions de chasse plus systèmes DCA canons/missiles y a possibilité de bien le protéger ;)

Demand for Medium Tanks is increasing.  At IDEX 2013 CMI Defence and Doosan DST present a new 120/105mm Medium Tank concept.  The system integrates the Cockerill XC-8 turret and the Doosan K21 IFV chassis.  With a system weight of some 25 tonnes, the concept offers advanced 120mm or 105mm firepower with high operational flexibility and tactical mobility.

The Cockerill XC-8 is a low-weight concept-turret that recognises divergent market requirements; specifically for the broad operational flexibility demanded by the medium-tank requirement, and for the narrower, more specialised anti-armour requirement.  Thus one of two low-recoil force guns may be fitted in the XC-8.

Both guns are employed using a common high performance, digital, fully-stabilised, day/night weapon control system.  Turret weight is kept low through the use of a bustle-mounted autoloader, which permits a two-person crew.  The Cockerill XC-8 concept-turret draws on the proven modular technology of the Cockerill CT-CV 105HP turret and may be realised at low risk.

The Doosan K21 IFV chassis represents the latest-generation of vehicle technology.  In service with the Republic of Korea, the K21 offers outstanding tactical mobility through the use of hydro-pneumatic suspension, a 750HP powerpack

L'avantage du MCL c'est qu'au lieu de 30h par batterie on en a plus que 3 comme le dit la vidéo de présentation. Autre donnée de la vidéo:

China provides better view of CM-802AKG stand-off missile at IDEX

China's Precision Machinery Import Export Corporation (CPMIEC) has exhibited the CM-802AKG stand-off land-attack missile for the first time outside China. The new precision-guided weapon has probably already been fielded by the People's Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF), using the reported local designation YJ-83KH, but potential export customers have previously been shown only models - and only at events within China.

At IDEX 2013 in Abu Dhabi in mid-February CPMIEC displayed a large image of a CM-802AKG missile carried by a Xian JH-7A attack aircraft, operating with the China Flight Test Establishment (CFTE). The opaque cover for the missile's imaging infra-red (IIR) seeker is clearly visible. The aircraft is fitted with a datalink pod that is also used in conjunction with China's KD-88 air-to-surface weapon, indicating that both missiles have a man-in-the-loop targeting and retargeting capability.

The CM-802AKG is a derivative of the radar-guided CM-802AK anti-ship missile, produced by the China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation. Because of its new IIR seeker, it is optimised for use against land targets, including re-locatable mobile targets, while still retaining an anti-ship capability. The turbojet-powered missile has a maximum launch range of 230 km but can be controlled by another aircraft at 280 km from its intended target. The 670 kg CM-802AKG is fitted with a 285 kg penetrating warhead.

The CM-802AKG was first seen in public at the November 2010 Airshow China. Until its IDEX appearance it had only been displayed at Airshow China and only as a mock-up. CPMIEC did not explicitly identify the CM-802AKG in its presentation at IDEX but the missile's emergence there indicates that the weapon is now a fully fledged export product.

Belgian company CMI Defence (Stand 12-C35) has revealed that it is developing, as a private venture, a turret called the Cockerill XC-8 that can be armed with its own 105mm rifled gun or 120mm high-pressure smoothbore tank gun.

According to CMI Defence, the 120mm weapon is in the final stages of development and will be fitted with a thermal sleeve and fume extractor, and a muzzle reference system.

The XC-8 concept demonstrator turret is fitted with a computerised fire control system that includes stabilised day/thermal sights for the commander and gunner. A bustle-mounted automatic loader has enabled the turret crew to be reduced to two – commander and gunner.

Aimed at the new-build and upgrade markets, the turret is being shown at IDEX integrated onto the South Korean Doosan K21 hull, which is already in production for the Republic of Korea Army in the infantry fighting vehicle configuration, with the complete system weighing 25 tonnes.

As the XC-8 turret is a modular design, customers could potentially start with the 105mm gun and upgrade to 120mm in the future as the threat changes. In addition to firing conventional natures of ammunition, it can also fire a gun-launched antitank guided missile (GLATGM). The 105mm Falarick GLATGM has been developed in co-operation with the Ukraine and has a maximum range of 5km. It is fitted with a tandem high-explosive anti-tank warhead to neutralise explosive reactive armour, which has already been successfully fired from the CMI Defence CT-CV turret.

Also being shown at IDEX are the Panhard Defense CRAB (4x4) vehicle fitted with the CPW25 (Cockerill Protected Weapon) and the BTR-3E (8x8) from the Ukraine fitted with the latest Cockerill CSE 90LP two-person turret. The latter is armed with a low-pressure 90mm gun that can fire a wide range of ammunition, including armour-piercing finstabilised discarding sabot – tracer, high explosive and canister.
