Six 767 de plus pour Lan Airlines Le constructeur américain Boeing a confirmé hier avoir enregistré une commande ferme de Lan Airlines pour six 767-300 supplémentaires. Ce nouvel achat fait suite à de précédentes acquisitions conclues en mai et novembre 2004 pour un nombre similaire de biréacteurs. Le montant total de la transaction est valorisé à 1,7 million de dollars. L'annonce a été faite lors de la livraison du premier appareil, un 767-300ER cargo, à l'opérateur Absa Cargo, filiale brésilienne de Lan Airlines. La compagnie chilienne recevra un deuxième avion dans la même version en octobre prochain. Les dix autres, y compris sept du modèle passagers, lui seront livrés d'ici octobre 2008. Boeing a révélé tout à l'heure avoir signé le 31 juillet dernier une lettre d'intention avec Royal Air Maroc portant sur la fourniture d'au moins cinq 787 destinés à renouveler sa flotte long-courrier. La direction de la compagnie nationale marocaine avait donné son aval deux jours avant afin d'entamer des négociations avec le constructeur qui devraient aboutir sur un accord définitif en septembre prochain. Hier, l'avionneur a confirmé la vente ferme de 42 des 60 nouveaux biréacteurs efficients que six compagnies aériennes chinoises s'étaient engagées à commander en janvier 2005. Les acquisitions, dont la valeur totale excède 5 milliards de dollars, portent sur quinze à Air China et un nombre similaire pour China Eastern Airlines, neuf à Shanghai Airlines et trois destinés à Xiamen Airlines. L'industriel espère prochainement conclure l'achat de dix appareils de China Southern Airlines et huit par Hainan Airlines. Les avions doivent être livrés entre 2006 et 2012, selon un communiqué de Gol. Lors d'une commande initiale annoncée en mars, Gol avait commandé 30 Boeing 737-800 nouvelle génération et pris une option d'achat sur 33. Selon le service de presse du fabriquant américain, cela fait de Gol son principal client en Amérique latine. Actuellement, Gol opère avec 35 Boeing 737 en leasing. Les prochaines acquisitions lui permettront d'avoir une flotte propre de 46 avions en 2010 et de 40 en leasing et de pouvoir étendre ses destinations au Brésil et en Amérique du sud, a précisé la compagnie créée en 2001 par un groupe familial présent dans le transport terrestre. Un porte-parole de Boeing s'est refusé à tout commentaire et aucun représentant de 3M n'a pu être joint dans l'immédiat. Les appareils, équipés de moteurs General Electric, seront livrés entre 2007 et début 2008. Le montant de la transaction n'a pas été divulgué. "JAL utilisera les nouveaux 767-300ER cargo principalement sur les routes vers l'Asie du sud-est et la Chine, sur lesquelles la croissance du trafic aérien de marchandises a remarquablement progressé et devrait continuer à se développer", a expliqué la compagnie dans un communiqué. La flotte cargo de JAL comporte actuellement dix Boeing 747-200F et deux Boeing 747-400F. En version cargo, le Boeing 767-300ER peut transporter 60,5 tonnes de fret sur 6.056 km, ou 50 tonnes sur 7.880 km. Trois autres Boeing 767-300ER précédemment commandés doivent par ailleurs être livrés entre août 2005 et mars 2006. Avec les nouvelles commandes annoncées jeudi, JAL comptera 46 Boeing 767 dans sa flotte. La compagnie Qatar Airways a lancé lundi le salon aéronautique du Bourget avec une commande de 15 milliards de dollars répartie entre l'européen Airbus et l'américain Boeing, alimentant la bataille acérée entre les deux géants. Le salon a été inauguré par le président français Jacques Chirac, qui a salué la vedette de cette 46e édition, l'Airbus A380, qualifié de "superbe réussite européenne". Il est monté à bord de l'avion géant avant d'assister à une démonstration en vol. Le PDG de Qatar Airways, Akbar al Baker, a créé la sensation en annonçant son intention de commander 60 Airbus A350, à un prix affiché de 10,6 milliards de dollars, et "au moins" 20 Boeing 777 pour 4,6 milliards de dollars. La décision finale de passer ces "commandes fermes" est "imminente", a ajouté le patron de la jeune compagnie qui opère depuis Doha. Salon du Bourget: Boeing place 20 737 chez GE Commercial Aviation Services Boeing et Gecas (GE Commercial Aviation Services) ont digné un accord de vente portant sur 20 737 de nouvelle génération pour un montant estimé à 1,1 milliard de $ aux prix catalogue. Cette commande s'ajoute à celle de 12 appareils du même type passé l'an dernier. Ces 32 appareils en commande ferme seront loués à des opérateurs clients de Gecas.
