  7. North Korea tests modified SS-N-2 Styx anti-ship missiles (P-15 Termit) in Yellow Sea North Korea has recently tested anti-vessel missiles in the Yellow Sea, a government source said Wednesday. "In October and earlier this month, North Korea flew its IL-28 bomber to test anti-ship missiles in the Yellow Sea waters," the source said, adding that the missiles are reportedly the modified versions of the North's Styx ground-to-ship missiles. http://www.navyrecognition.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=188

^ lol marrant que le dernier post soit ça alors que je veux poster ceci: B-2 Bomber Gets Boeing’s New 30,000-Pound Bunker-Buster Bomb The U.S. Air Force has taken delivery of a new 30,000-pound bomb from Boeing Co. (BA) that’s capable of penetrating deeply buried enemy targets. The huge bunker buster, dubbed the Massive Ordnance Penetrator, is built to fit the B-2 stealth bomber. The Air Force Global Strike Command started receiving the bombs in September, Air Force spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Jack Miller said in a short statement to Bloomberg News. The deliveries “will meet requirements for the current operational need,” he said. http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2011-11-14/30-000-pound-bunker-buster-bomb-now-ready.html

  12. Pour revenir sur les F16... pendant les demos de IDEX ils annonçaient leur F16 à chaque fois comme "The Pride of the UAE Air Force" alors que pour les 2000 -9, ben ils disaient rien.

  18. Everyone likes to have something juicy to put on the front page of their show daily so what better than when an announcement everyone thought might be made at the Dubai air show is turned on its head? Instead of announcing that they were ready to sign the contract for up to 60 Rafales with France's Dassault Aviation, the United Arab Emirates has issued the Eurofighter consortium with a request for proposals after an October 17 UK briefing requested by the UAE. This seems a little strange given that they are looking for a multi-role aircraft and that, today at least, the Eurofighter's air-to-ground capacities are more than limited (a 1,000 pound free-fall bomb, a Paveway 2 laser-guided 1,000 pound bomb and an E-Paveway 2 dual mode (GPS/laser) 1,000 pound bomb and this only on the British variant of the aircraft). http://www.aviationweek.com/aw/blogs/defense/index.jsp?plckController=Blog&plckBlogPage=BlogViewPost&newspaperUserId=27ec4a53-dcc8-42d0-bd3a-01329aef79a7&plckPostId=Blog%3a27ec4a53-dcc8-42d0-bd3a-01329aef79a7Post%3a4b61dd49-6dd6-4c7a-a564-2191071f0ed3&plckScript=blogScript&plckElementId=blogDest

  20. DUBAI: Dassault keeps mum on Rafale UAE prospects Dassault's Rafale made a noisy display appearance on the opening day of the Dubai air show, but away from the flight line, the company was much quieter about its prospects with selling the fighter to the UAE. Questions about the current status of long-running talks to potentially replace the UAE's Dassault Mirage 2000s with up to 60 Rafales were met with a polite "no comment", one day after a surprise request for Eurofighter to also submit a proposal based on its Typhoon became public knowledge. http://www.flightglobal.com/news/articles/dubai-dassault-keeps-mum-on-rafale-uae-prospects-364746/?utm_medium=twitter&utm_source=twitterfeed

  22. UAE asks Eurofighter to counter Rafale offer AFP) – 4 hours ago DUBAI — The United Arab Emirates, which is in the final stages of talks with France on the sale of Rafale fighter jets, has invited Eurofighter to make a counter offer, the European consortium said Sunday. The consortium said that the UAE had asked Britain, which uses the Eurofighter, to provide it with information about the aircraft capacity, and that a briefing took place on October 17. http://www.google.com/hostednews/afp/article/ALeqM5gI5S3eTzVDflqgajm5ToSBm76G8A?docId=CNG.a7dd32f66b6231dfd54596020fa71a03.521
